Here at Horbury Scouts we strive to provide fun, exciting, adventurous, challenging
& educational activities, for the young people of Horbury and surrounding areas.
In order to help them to develop into responsible, mature and capable young adults
who, with all our support, might just go on to make a difference.

Scouting, at all levels, is a uniformed organisation which has an ethos of discipline
and respect for oneself and others and which, through a structured and progressive
programme of training, tries to encourage youngsters to be self reliant, confident
in their abilities and better fitted for adult life.
Scouting at Horbury starts from the age of 6 years old up to 14 years old.
All the sections meet in our own headquarters at Horbury Bridge.
Our waiting lists for all the sections are currently over subscribed and there fore we cannot accept any more additions to these lists. Our aim is to open a second group for each section but we need additional people to become leaders so we can acheive this. If you are interesed please, click here Volunteer (PDF) or Contact us for more information
