Scouting, at all levels, is a uniformed organisation which has an ethos of discipline
and respect for oneself and others and which, through a structured and progressive
programme of training, tries to encourage youngsters to be self reliant, confident
in their abilities and better fitted for adult life.

Scouting at Horbury starts from the age of 6 years old up to 14 years old.

All the sections meet in our own headquarters at Horbury Bridge.

Our waiting lists for all the sections are currently over subscribed and there
fore we cannot accept any more additions to these lists.

We are looking for enthusiastic adults to become leaders to run a second
Beaver colony.
